Notice... Personal Property, Real Property and Vehicle Taxes can NOT
be paid online Monday-Friday between 9:45 PM - 3:30 AM EDT.
  • Online payments are not available for taxpayers enrolled in the Installment Program
  • Out of country tax payments are not accepted by our third party payment processor

The South Carolina Department of Revenue has advised of a security breach of the State's computer system that may have disclosed personal information for numerous taxpayers. They also recommend Taxpayers with internet access can log on to https://www.protectmyid.com/default.aspx?sc=676980 and use code: SCDOR123 to sign up for ProtectMyID. Also Taxpayers can call 1-866-578-5422 to speak with a representative at ProtectMyId. They have indicated a recording will play twice with the above information but then should allow the Taxpayer to be able to talk with a representative.
